The OACCAC coordinates a provincial process on behalf of CCACs to help streamline the process of identifying and monitoring the service provider organizations that CCACs partner with.
Registry of qualified service providers
All service providers who provide care or related services through the CCAC must first complete a service provider pre-qualification process. The OACCAC issues a Request for Prequalification notice twice a year – June and December, which is published on MERX for the benefit of new entrants. The OACCAC publishes the resulting list of successful applicants every August and February.
Process for renewal of qualified status
Prequalified service providers will receive a notice within at least one month of their annual renewal date, with directions on the information and forms required for renewal and with the applicable deadlines. It is important that prequalified service providers update their contact information provided in their previous application, whenever it changes.
